New York, New York
hello… we’re technically back in manchester now and having finally turned in the papers i (wendy) had due, we’re ready to retro-post about the wonderful 4 weeks we had back home. we had a whirlwind of a tour (someone even suggested doing Tshirts, like a band). we hit the ground running when we flew from manchester to NYC to spend 4 days with alex (zeke’s older brother) and his fiancé olynda.
we had fun doing loads of the touristy things we never get around to in new york, because we’re too busy being cool going to art galleries and basketball tournaments and such… it was like we had made this list as children- toy stores, 3-story candy shops, the giant christmas tree, serendipities with ice cream as big as your head… it was so fun!
we even went to the cozy bar alex works at in brooklyn. (nevermind the david bowie werewolf in the background- they left it up from halloween) he made us delicious sake cocktails.
